From a friend far away

People, guess what I found in my mail this weekend! A package that came all the way from California! SO EXCITING! But the fact that it’s from the States alone obviously did not make my day. No, it’s that it was from San! And that she sent me Skittles and Reese’s peanut butter cups, just because I mentioned my cravings for both one time on Twitter! Exclamation point!
Skittles and Reese’s peanut butter cups, if you must now, are my biggest weakness. And I can’t get them here. San sending this to me basically ensured that I finished a stupid paper on vision and visuality in time for the deadline because I seriously could not have gone on without the genius that is PEANUT BUTTER COATED IN CHOCOLATE. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Rest assured that there will be absolutely no sweets left by- probably- Wednesday, I would estimate based on how things are going. Heh.
San also sent a beautiful San Francisco postcard that now hangs on my wall as a reminder of the general awesomeness of internet buddies and her loveliness in particular. Thanks so much, San!

I LOVE reeses!! I sometimes buy a big package just like that and grab a big glass of milk to help me finish them off. That was so sweet of San!

I am glad you were able to finish your paper on this “fuel”…. just imagine what would have happened otherwise! *gasp* ;)
You’ll be finished with this by Wednesday? Looks like I have to send another care package soon ;)
